General Data Protection Regulation no. 679/2016 (hereinafter referred to as GDPR), for the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, is applicable in all European Union countries, starting from 25.05.2018. This Regulation has a significant impact on all sectors of activity, which is why STEELOIL.COM (STEELOIL SERVICE SRL) has proceeded to review the current programs, by this Regulation, so that it can identify possible impediments and implement the changes that are imposed in its activity.
The concept of personal data protection represents the natural person’s right to have those characteristics that lead to his identification protected and the correlative obligation of the STEELOIL.COM operator to adopt appropriate measures to ensure effective protection. Personal data means information that can be directly or indirectly linked to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as, for example: name, first name, personal code, address, telephone, image, voice , economic-financial situation, bank account number, and profession.
Considering the need to defend and respect the fundamental right to intimate and private life, the protection of personal data is a particularly important field, a fact confirmed by the treatment of this topic in separate chapters provided for in the Convention on the Implementation of the Schengen Agreement.

- The rights of the data subject/buyer conferred by GDPR no. 679/2016:
With the request/granting of consent, you are informed about the rights conferred by the GDPR regarding personal data, as well as about the consent expressed by you for the collection of personal data and the processing of this data by STEELOIL SERVICE, namely:

—The right to intervene in the data – any data subject has the right to obtain from the operator, free of charge, the rectification, updating, blocking, or deletion of data whose processing is not under the law, especially incomplete or inaccurate data, through a written request sent to the address of the operator at office@steeloil.com.
—The right of opposition – the data subject has the right to object at any time, through a written request, dated and signed, for legitimate reasons related to his particular situation, that the data concerning him be the subject of processing, through a written request sent to office@steeloil.com.
—The right to transform the collected personal data into anonymous data, through a written request sent to the operator STEELOIL SERVICE SRL at office@steeloil.com.
—The right to be forgotten – natural persons can request the deletion of personal data if they have been processed illegally, without their consent or if the data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were initially processed.
—The right to data portability – natural persons have the right to request that their personal data be transferred to another operator, in which case STEELOIL SERVICE SRL can provide the personal data of the data subject to other companies with which it is in partnership relations , but only based on a confidentiality commitment on their part guaranteeing that these data are kept safe, for the purposes mentioned above, and on the condition that the data subject consents to this portability.
—The right not to be subject to an individual decision taken based on automatic processing, the withdrawal or cancellation of any decision that produces legal effects regarding him, adopted exclusively based on personal data processing, carried out by automatic means.

- Obligations of the operator STEELOIL SERVICE SRL
According to the requirements of GDPR no. 679/2016, STEELOIL SERVICE SRL is obliged to manage the personal data you safely provide us and only for the specified purposes. At the same time, the operator STEELOIL SERVICE SRL must notify the data subject whose data has been disclosed, if this notification does not prove to be impossible or does not involve an effort disproportionate to the legitimate effort that could be harmed.
- Acceptance is given by the data subject/buyer
By completing the data in the account creation and/or order form, the Buyer declares and unconditionally accepts that his personal data will be included in the database of STEELOIL SERVICE SRL and expresses his express and unequivocal consent for all this personal data to be stored , used and processed for the purposes shown above, in point 3.
By reading this information, the Buyer declares that he has read, understood and agrees that the operator STEELOIL SERVICE SRL collects, stores and processes personal data, according to the requirements of Law no. 506/2004 GDPR (2016/679), also taking note of the rights conferred by these legal provisions.
